You don’t need a Fitbit wearable to use the Fitbit Coach guided workout app, but it’s undoubtedly better if you link the app with a Fitbit watch or band. That’s because Fitbit Coach’s tailored training programme will recommend workouts based on your activity history from the wearable, and if you have a Fitbit Versa or Ionic smartwatch you’ll be able to follow the workouts on your wrist. There are guided sessions across a variety of sports including running, walking and bodyweight exercises, and they last between seven and 60 minutes.
